The Alex Jones Verdict Should Be a Wake Up Call
I watched the verdicts read out live in the civil suit against Alex Jones by the families of the Sandy Hook victims, and I have to say that I look forward to seeing Jones have to declare bankruptcy. These numbers are incredible, and well deserved.
The final total comes out to $965 million.
Good.
I hope he suffers deeply because of this. I hope he dies penniless and angry. He has tormented them. He is a vile, evil, disgusting human being. No amount of money can repair the trauma he has directly inflicted upon and caused to those families, after already having their children murdered. He has tormented them.
I also hope the people who have spread disinformation which has lead to the needless suffering and death to which countless of us have borne witness are paying attention. No amount of grifting will make this kind of civil suit verdict manageable.
You see, that’s the thing about Alex Jones. He was just an early indicator of what was to come.
